Overview
The wide shear clamp is used for larger tools such as chisels, osteotomes, and similar tools up to 1/2" thick and 1 1/2" wide. It is also good for lawnmower blades, paper cutter blades, and larger shears from 10" - 14". It adjusts to the various tapers of the blades. The clamp will allow the user to lock the shears at a particular angle and when combined with the arm assembly, can be set to match all possible angles on tools up to 14 inches in length.
The ergonomic aspect of this clamp is the bulb type grip for easy fit and comfort in the palm of the hand. The grip is covered in soft rubber. This type of grip requires less pressure to tighten.
This will allow you to confidently sharpen any shear to the exact angle best suited to your customer’s needs. The narrow shear clamp fits all models of the Twice as Sharp®, Ookami Gold®, and Corru-gator.
